The most important tip we can give you is to let your Wovel do the work. To throw snow, keep moving forward, then take a long, lunging step while snapping your hands downward. Remember, the quicker the snap the higher you can throw the snow. Try this: Hold your Wovel in a still position, and push down quickly on the handle to lift the empty blade. The Wovel wheel should rise off the ground at the end of this rapid motion. If it does you’ve got it! That’s the kind of motion that works best.

To clear to the pavement I lift the wheel off the ground, shifting the weight to the scoop's leading edge, and the snow was cleared right down to the blacktop. At the end of each run, while still moving forward, I lowered
the Wovel so the wheel was on the surface and flipped the the snow from the scoop. My "discovery" was that lifting the wheel of the Wovel greatly improved its performance under conditions that are common enough in the winter and still allowed the flip-and-empty move which obviates any heavy lifting....

First, thank you so much for taking an active hand in getting my wovel shipped to me.
Second, that wovel is truly wonderful. It clears snow like nobody's business, whether the fluffy stuff or the slushy kind. It's even fun to use!
Just wanted to say thanks, and good luck with your soon-to-be-completed new (and self-operated!) warehouse.

It's great on uneven ground, I use it to shovel a path to our bird feeders,in deep snow I only bite into it about half way & move the snow to where I want to throw it & go back & get the rest to grass level. The big wheel works great going through deeper snow. Gets looks when I'm doing the front walk, wife likes using it too.Easier than regular shovel. Lets you roll snow where you want to throw it instead of carrying it. "OUTSTANDING PRODUCT"...

I just put my new Wovel together, and I had a suggestion. The "Video Guide" suggests using your hands to put the tire onto the wheel. I had a problem with this and ended up using the floor and my foot. I attached the tire as recommended and then turned it upside-down so that the attached end was on the carpet. I put one foot on the tire and rolled the wheel onto the tire, while applying tension. I found this much easier than the method demonstrated on the video.

For temporary storage, you can place the blade on the ground, like you are going to start Woveling, and push the blade into and under a snow pile. The weight of the snow will keep the Wovel in the upright position. This works well if you are just taking a break from Woveling, or are in between snowfalls....
